Don R. Ward, 91, Kansas City, Mo passed away August 1, 2016 at his home. Don was born March 5, 1925 in Leavenworth, Ks to Charles and Myrtle Ward. He served 3 years and 2 months in the US Navy and spent time in the Pacific during the second World War. He leaves behind a daughter Toni Lee Rust, grandson Todd Rust and his wife Teresa, great-granddaughter Mary Sisk and her husband Jeren, grandson Lonnie Ray Rust, great grandson Collin Flores, great granddaughters; Haley Stinson, Lexie Stinson and Paiton Pike. A memorial gathering will be held 6-8 PM, on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Heartland Cremation, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo 64133.
