I would like to send my condolences. Linda was a very special person and it was an honor to work with her at the Columbia Fire Department. She was more than a co-worker to me, she was a great friend. I will always treasure her friendship. Hugs and prayers to Jim and the rest of her family.

Linda was one of the nicest persons I have ever known. Wonderful memoirs of her will live on in all of us that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Words of condolence always seem so trite when I try to use them. They just don’t adequately portray what’s truly meant.
For more than 20 years, Linda was almost always my “go to” source for what I thought I needed to do my job. We laughed, we haggled, we even fought a time or two, but she never made me feel what she was doing for me wasted her time. Through her and Jane, I learned at an early life when you want something, never go to the BOSS…go to the Secretaries.
To Jim and the rest of her family, thank you for sharing this delightful lady with us. Our deepest sympathy.
