Lucille “Ceil” Moore

Lucille, “Ceil” Moore, 83, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in Overland Park, KS. Cremation has been effected. Lucille was born October 17, 1930 in Booneville, AR to Jeff Suttle and Lou Rene Turner Suttle. She grew up in the Booneville, AR area and Shawnee, OK. On February 5, 1949, she married Jack Moore in Arkansas City, where they made their home for most of the next 59 years. She worked as the traffic manager for KSOK radio station for many years.   After a brief retirement she had a second career at Union State Bank in Arkansas City. She is survived by her two sons, Randy and wife Sharon of Shawnee, KS and John “Arch” and wife Karen of Overland Park, KS; her daughter Julie Long and husband John of Greenwood, AR; five grandchildren, Ashley, Chris, Jack, Katie and Matt; great grandson Carter; her brother Walker Suttle and dearest friends Gene and Martha Snyder. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jack.

While Lucille had many interests, her greatest love was spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother.

There will be a memorial service at St Aidan’s Episcopal Church in Olathe, KS on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2 pm. There will be a graveside service at Parker Cemetery in Arkansas City, KS, August 16, 1 pm.
