Luella Garlow Lloyd passed away peacefully at age 95, on April 17, 2014, at the Olathe Medical Center. The Memorial Service will be 6:30PM Monday, April 21, 2014, at College Church of the Nazarene, Olathe , KS. A family and friends visitation will precede the service from 5:30-6:30PM. Luella was born May 18, 1918, in Ames KS. She graduated from Concordia High School and pursued a Theology Degree at Miltonvale Wesleyan College. She and her husband, Willard James Lloyd, of 54 years, copastured churches in the Kansas Wesleyan Church Conference for 35 years. Luella was a strong, independent woman with a zest for music and evangelism and served her church faithfully with this focus. Her greatest joy was her family and desire to care for young children. Luella is preceded in death by her husband; 5 brothers and 1 sister and 1 son, Jim Lloyd. She is survived by 1 sister, daughters Shelley Terrill, Willene Knorr, and Ruth Casady, 1 son, David Lloyd, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grand children, and 2 great, great grandchildren. The family would like to express their appreciation for dedicated care provided by the Good Samaritan Society of Olathe, KS. Memorial contributions can be made to the Good Samaritan Society of Olathe.

We remember times with your family and your mother. She truly loved her family. We are so sorry that we will not be able to attend the Memorial Service for her. We do want you to know that you are in our prayers and we extend our deepest sympathy in your loss. What a wonderful reunion of family and friends in heaven.
