Matthew A. Rizzo, 86, Gravois Mills, Mo., passed away Sept. 18, 2014. Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22, at Missouri Funeral Care, Raytown, Mo. Mass will be 10 a.m. Sept. 23, at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, Blue Springs, Mo. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, KCMO. Matthew was born Nov. 20, 1927, in KCMO. He was a WWII Navy veteran. Matthew is preceded in death by wife, Rosalie. He is survived by son, Patrick Rizzo; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jean Rizzo, both of Blue Springs, Mo.; sister, Angeline Montalto; grandchildren, Tina Gilbert, Jen, Dominick and Rosalie Rizzo; and great grandson, Clyde Gilbert.
