Patricia “Pat” Louise Large, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Monday Dec. 15, 2014 at 12:40 a.m.
She was born February 27, 1934 in El Dorado, KS. She is known by many from her work as a waitress at many Independence eateries including Jerry’s Restaurant, Englewood Café, Courthouse Exchange and Kross Lounge/Ernie’s Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Large. She is survived by her sister, Elsie Carson, 3 grandsons (Joshua Sims, Chancey Parker & Kyle Parker) and 8 great-grandchildren.
Due to her wishes there will not be a graveside service but instead a celebration of her life will be held at River Blvd. Baptist Church, located at 3212 N. River Blvd. in Independence on Saturday Dec. 20, 2014 from 1-4 p.m.
Per the family’s request: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on Saturday.
