William Mitchell, 64, Raytown, MO passed away Sept. 3, 2014. A memorial service is planned for Noon, Sat., Sept 13, 2014 at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133. A visitation will precede the service and begin at 11 AM. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Fri., Sept. 19, 2014 at Missouri Sate Cemetery at Higginsville. William was born Nov. 3, 1949 in Alva, OK to William B. and June E. Mitchell. He graduated from Raytown South High School in 1968, He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a self-employed fencing contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Carol Angotti. He is survived by his sons; William II, and Benjamin and their mother, Tasha Mitchell, sisters; Mary Wisdom, and Dian (Dennis) Cassidy, ‘brother’ Popeye (Vickie) Mathis and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends
